Siplus:
what are some good Xwindow desktops other then the above mentioned? i want to try some other out, i've heard of Blackhat and Enlightenment, but dont' know anything about them. i hope these are small enough for a dial-up to download..
Master of Reality:
enlightenment, blackbox, fluxbox (just a bloated blackbox), window maker, fvwm, fvwm95, xfce.
Those are some, i like enlightenment the best out of those and they are all a hell of a lot smaller then KDE... just search on www.google.ca/linux for them
Doogee:
dont forget IceWM, which is cool also
Calum:
XFce is my favourite, it really kicks ass, plus windowmaker is good, enlightenment can be really good (but is a little boring after a while and can be irritating to get into), and icewm is good up to a point.
a couple of desktop themes for xfce can be had on my site at www.orkney.cjb.net btw.
