If you are referring to avello wishing a Happy Thanksgiving after getting his problem solved then I think you are going a little overboard. I haven't seen a thread dedicated to Thanksgiving so that can't be an issue. If you are referring to something else then maybe you have an issue. It's not like he said "Happy Microsoft Day". I don't celebrate Chanukkah because I am not Jewish, but I certainly don't mind anyone wishing me a "Happy Hanukkah". What's wrong with wishing someone else happiness?

Not to beat a dead horse since it is officially the day after thanksgiving. But I thought it was interesting that even Linus wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving in the 2.5.50 kernel release. And he's not even from the west side of the earth. It's rather humorous actually, which is why I am continuing with this:
