linux NTFS partition resizing

Well I was reading about xandros and I found out that it is the only linux distribution that supports non destructive NTFS partition resizing. Why doesnt Red Hat, Mandrake, or SuSE support this, they are the big names in linux after all?

Most likley because NTFS is a relatively new thing, and still a bit risky to write to I hear.

My god, loooking at screenshots at the Xandros site... It wants to be Windows sooooo much. (not that I can't blame it)

The people at Xandros have a pretty clean looking OS, but the only thing truly special about it is the NTFS partition resizing. The desktop looks to be KDE, Xandros otherwise has all the same pieces of software every other distro is known for, except for crossOver office, which Ive only really seen on SuSE. The other interesting thing about xandros is that it supports both Debian's, and Red Hat's package management systems. Still Im a little skeptical.
