Help me crash my computer so I can use Windows again!

I'm sick of it running for so long.  You see, I made a bet with a friend that I wouldn't reboot Linux until it crashed, and it's been over two weeks now and nothing's happened!!

as you can see:

]$ uptime
 11:35pm  up 14 days, 14:36,  1 user,  load average: 0.00, 0.02, 0.04

I need to reboot into windows but I can't until the damn OS crashes!  I played Warcraft III for hours on end and left it running all night and it didn't lock up.  I've tried all the bizarre console commands I know short of "rm -Rf /" and even that wouldn't cut it because we agreed that the only things that would be considered "crashing" would be either a kernel panic or if X locked up so badly you couldn't move the mouse or use the keyboard.  So can anyone help??

Is the game to only have normal user access or can you do things as root as well? Otherwise you might be waiting a while. My server is back up to 141 days after the power failure. Before that it was ~490 days as you've heard me say many times..

I can go root, but I don't want to crash it in a way that will screw up my system.  (ie, I don't want to delete system files or anything)

Hmmmm, I thought maybe deleting the "/tmp/.X11-unix/X0" file might do it but it didn't. It did freeze up but I was able to CTRL+ALT+BKSPC to kill the X server in which case it recreated the X0 socket and brought me back to a graphical login where everything worked fine again. Hmmmm, I can't think of a way off the top of my head without actually destroying something as root.

Calum:
pull the mains lead out, although why you would want to go back to windows is beyond me...
