(1/4) > >>

hnugz:
I am running madrake 9 and I am trying to install winex.  I get an error saying that it couldn't find a bison/yacc package and that I needed to install it.  Can anyone help me with this?  I have no idea what this is.

KernelPanic:
ftp://ftp.mirror.ac.uk/sites/sunsite.uio.no/pub/unix/Linux/Mandrake/Mandrake/9.0/i586/Mandrake/RPMS/bison-1.35-3mdk.i586.rpm

hnugz:
thanks for the link.  but now its asking me for the flex package.  i have a feeling i dont have any of this installed.  are these on the mandrake cd?  where can i find them?

flap:
Use the Software Manager (it was called that in the last version of Mandrake I used). That just gives you a big list of packages you can choose from. Or you could manually look for them on the cds.

KernelPanic:
Correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't the Mandrake 9.0 version of urpmi source packages for you in an apt-get like fashion?
