Slack with cdrw; anyone know what to do?

baa i got all beat. I got a sony 4x2x16x i bleieve in my rents comp. Originally got it for my P1 compaq. Parents get really mad when i spend 20min burnin a cd on there comp.

I had one of those slow cd-rws too, but I sold it as part of what was left over from my old computer, along with the P3 processor, modem, and 16 mb graphics card.

That was the computer that came with Windows ME installed. Is it any wonder I'm a Linux user now?

Master of Reality:
the burning laser finally died in my a couple weeks ago... and it was so close to retirement. Hopefully ill get a DVD/CD-RW in march.
