Partition Magic
Doogee:
hey if i use partition magic to resize a partition (i nned more in linux) will it need to format it again??
Pantso:
I don't think it will reformat the partition. Anyway, to me the only solution is to wipe the entire Windoze partition out but since you might need it, my answer is no. In any case take a look at the readme files in PM ;)
KernelPanic:
No you will not need to reformat it but, PM only daelas with ext2fs partitions so if you have an ext3fs one you will have to downgrade it first.
voidmain:
Tux is right. ParitionMagic does not support ext3 file systems and if you want to use ParitionMagic 7.0 to manipulate the parition you will need to downgrade to ext2 using the "tune2fs" command from an alternate boot (rescue boot, knoppix CD, etc).
