Mr X needs to install fmod binary and doesnt know how

Hey guys, i know know how to install .run , just go in konsole, type su , cd to the directory, type sh and the first two letters of the file then press tab and enter. but how do i intsall .bin ? i want to install FMOD so Racer can work. just install RTCW ET and it works but i need to install some pacthes to play online.

flap:
cd to the directory and type
./filename.bin
