My iPod is Dying!!!!

My iPod hard drive overheats and dies if I transfer more than like 3gb to it.  Then after it overheats... if i plug it in, it forgets all of the songs.  Right now I am using some of those frozen picnic cubes and paper towels to keep it cool while I transfer my songs to it.  This weekend I'm gonna get it replaced.

When they go to replace it... I'll see if I can slip the guy 100 bucks so I can upgrade to one of those new 20gb ones.

I am the owner of a brand new 10gb iPod.  They replaced it without question and gave me a new one right in the store.  I asked if they allowed upgrades but they do not.  So no 20gb for me.  But 10 is plenty.  (i never got it past half empty)

I am very happy though.  I love Apple tech support.

Oh and I looked at the G5's there.  Man do they scream.  The 1.6 was easily 3x as fast as my 733g4.  They didn't have a dual 2 there though.  just the 6 and 8.  I looked at the inside too.  It is easily the most awesome computer ever made.  (inside, outside, and speed).  The only thing I wish is that it was running panther instead of Jaguar.  That would have made it 4x as fast as my 733.

Nice deal. So what'd you have before? 10GB?
