Doctor, according to your location, are you a US citizen vacationing in Japan right now?

Yes, but not on vacation.  I have been living here and working for about 3 years.  Actually alot of the programmers in Japan are foreign.

The only problems I have with Japan are the pollution and overcrowding. Both of these problems Canada lacks, and if you go 200KM north of the US border, these problems become a joke.
(as 80%+ of our people live within 200KM of the border)

Netherlands is probably an awesome country, but that overcrowding thing is scary! I grew up in a town that has never reached over 85000 people, and another 85000 person town is a loooong ways away. So even though im not into nature hikes, im quite fearful of overcrowding.

Tokyo is a heckuva lot bigger than any city in the US.  The overcrowding is rediculous!  It leads to tiny apartments that cost lots of money.  Yes, Canada is a great place, I'd love to live there if it weren't so COLD!  I too am surprised that a country that is America's bitch this much would actually consider non-M$ software.

Cold? Ironically I've been thinking how global warming has robbed me of true Canadian experiences. Basically -40 degree cold extremes, and backyard snow reaching 5+ feet.

What is the temperature right now? Varying between -10 and 10. IMO, that's not really freezing. This year we only got down to -20, I don't believe we hit -30. No snow in sight lol!(2 months ago there was more cold and snow)

I find 10 degrees reasonably comfortable weather. I am refering to celcius though.

Doctor V:
You Canadians are crazy!  10 degrees comfortable?  I think 20+ is about right.

And its time for the America to dump the ancient measurement system and adopt the far superior metric system that the rest of the world uses.

However, I will still defend that Windows is the single best platform in the world for delivering easy to use applications and administration as well as a really slick GUI. I will also state that IE 6 is the best browser on the planet.

Sounds like Linux User himself several months ago.
