good riddence.  When was the last time any of us actually used IE?

Also, they claim that there will no longer be standalone versions of IE for windows.  I thought that ever since 98 they were all integrated like we all hated.

Too bad Apple doesn't write a decent browser for 9.  I have noticed IE is a major cause for computer crashes. At my school, each time I look in the trash, I see lots of IE rescue files. And people say that Macs are unstable. Go figure.

Nice to see that Microsoft figured out what was making OS X a pain to use for a lot of people and fixed it!

I get sick of whenever I accidentally launch IE and have it freeze up on me, although a trip to Force Quit... always solves the problem for me. It's like it's a demo for how resistant the OS is to kill -9.

With safari in developemtn who needs IE anymore.  Its old technology now.
