Well, then everyone would use graphic converter  :D

Be easy on the kid, though. He probably doesn't know the difference between Linux and OS/2   :D

And regardless of how popular a software company is, with maybe the exception of M$, it is stupid to think that one could kill an entire platform.

The only way to kill the Mac platform would be to port it to x86.

mrmagoo. I dont even use mac regularly, I'm a linux person. But I suggest you just stop now. First of all although I'm sure Apple would lose a lot of multimedia business if Adobe started supporting linux and stopped supporting mac, likelyhood is Apple would stay alive, as usual.

Your just trying to piss us (yes i may be a half soon) maccies off. Don't, we're smarter than you. We'll, er, cut up your grandma's dog or something.

Step 1: Become the CEO of Adobe
Step 2: Suggest that you create new Photoshop 8 with new features that everyone wants
Step 3: Make Photoshop 8 native for Windows and Linux ONLY
Step 4: Watch Apple HQ burn

Mac would be TRASHED if Linux got a native and they didn't. Admit it.
There's nothing to admit here, because it would make no difference whatsoever. Since both Linux and Mac OS X are both rather *NIX-like, it would be NBD to install XFree86 on Macs and then go right on using the Linux version of Photoshop.

Easy to port X11 applications
With the complete suite of the standard X11 display server software, client libraries and developer toolkits, X11 for Mac OS X makes it even simpler to port Linux and Unix applications to the Mac. Based on XFree86 4.2.1, X11 for Mac OS X gives you a complete, rootless X11R6.6 implementation, as well as display server and client libraries

AOL? I'm sure you aren't talking about that shitty ISP who likes to buy out good software and destroy it with their ads and they like to send everybody those god damn unwanted CD's in the mail...right? So what do you mean by AOL?

That means 'me too'. Many AOLers say 'me too!' all the time. Never mind me, I'm really tired, and I don't make any sense at all, I just finished a really long assignment.
