Sadly, that's what keeps me coming back to windows from time to time  :(

The GIMP don't work with my WACOM tablet, and I cant get the drivers to work

that means graphics, video, and audio dudes won't use it.

I'll never use Linux in its current state for my audio work. I don't enjoy the prospect of losing the ability to use my DSP card, and then never having any real software

That explains how a lot of companies are using Linux for a/v editing, as both Macs and Windows PCs are expensive, and even if they pay $700 to build a PC they don't want to pirate windoze for the face they'll get and they have a good technical department.
