I'll bet they could do a desktop machine, same specs as the CRT iMac, just without the display, for $200 cheaper. They really need to have an extremely cheap machine.

Agreed. A prospective switcher can't even buy a new Mac for under $1000, unless you count the old CRT iMacs which they still sell.

Any machine with a G4 for under a grand would be a good item.
