Damn Microsoft, Damn it to Hell!

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/evaluation/whyupgrade/wxpvswin98.asp

I just watched the video on security...check it out. It is so fucking ridiculous and laden with lies. The demonstration is so lame it's unbelievable. Just watch it.
And afterwards, use this link write to their website, that it's hard to find your way around it, it's too confusing, too hard to get a "mental map" of the site. This is the kind of complaint taken seriously, as it will encourage them to work hard on a new website:

http://register.microsoft.com/contactus30/feedback40.asp?domain=windows

I want Microsoft taken back where it came from...Taken back to hell! Contribute! add work to the low-life employees! Complain!
Gates...Damn him, Damn that man!

Play the security viseo like this:

mplayer mms://netshow.microsoft.com/ms/windows/wxp/vswin98/security_300k.wmv

This is highly amusing, I almost feel sorry for those stupid enough to be convinced by this MS shite.

I'm convinced more than ever, I'm going out right now to go buy windows xp.

I only got audio, probably the crappy dialup connection. Why aren't they including linux and mac or freebsd or just anything non-microsoft in this comparison? This is what I got after listening to this:

"We cheated you when you bought 98, give us the chance to cheat you with xp too. trust us, it's better."

Because XP would come out looking bad in such a comparison?   :D

Well I suppose the best thing microsoft could do to improve security is not enable so many insecure services by default. Also the new firewall in XP is a step in the right direction although might I add that linux has had this for years, and linux software firewalls are much more advanced. Here is another tip for microsoft, Im not trying to kill virus software compamies, but I hear so many Windows users complain that they have to spend $50 on antivirus software. The Microsoft OS promotes virii, so microsoft should maintain antivirus software free of charge. The consumers lose out because they knows that if they use windows, they must buy antivirus software. If virii were an issue in linux, there wouldnt be a single distro that didnt include antivirus software.

The firewall in XP is there just to make idiots think their windoze boxes are secure... m$ still gets what they want through it... and as for virus protection, im sure m$ will simply make current antivirus software not work on future XP revisions and then charge two arms and a leg for "the only current antivirus software on the market"......

Yes indeed. They should disable the WinModem and/or Ethernet card permenantly. That way, Winderz would really be secure!   :D    :D    :D
