Recovering a 'Compressed Folder' Password ?!?

Usually I actually WRITE DOWN Passwords...  
But...  :(

I created a WINDOWS 'Compressed Folder', cleverly ?!?...
encyrypting it with a Password, some time ago, but now
have no IDEA what the Pssword is ?!? :-(

I also ... cleverly ;-p ... at the time removed the password
from WINDOWS/DYNAZIP.(spy)log ;-p ... where of course it is
SHOWN  :(  ...

Sooooo.... is there any way now to either RECOVER this Password,
or maybe 'edit' the Folder, so ANYTHING entered as the Password
would work ?!?.. desperation time

hmm. i have never heard of a 'windows compressed folder', so i'm unlikely to be of any help.

Sounds a bit like 'microsoft encrypted filesystem' or 'secure windows server' though. In other words, data in, garbage out...

Judging you by your homepage link, you probably downloaded a porn file and want to crack it open, without paying money to the original owners of the file. No help available here, even if I know what to do.

And what a shame you will get almost no revenue from people here, after all you can't advetise with pop-ups if the browser won't accept them, oh and when that browser also happens to block out your banner ad images... you get the idea.

Mike i am curious. internet is relatively new to the majority in malaysia is it not? have you come from there recently or are you an old hand at using computer stuff and networks?

also, can you confirm or deny these porn allegations? also, why are you using that POS 'operating system' anyway?
