Fluxbox on Slackware 11.0 (with my very own fluxbox theme, be it a bit simple, it is very readable ... gkrellm is on auto-hide)

 What makes you say that?  The same effect can be achieved in XP with "Classic" settings, so it's hard to tell from that screen.  I'm not sure that "Control Panel" has a "display on desktop" option though, so that could be it.

Having said that, and seeing D-Tools and "Games" (not to mention the lambda wallpaper), I'm guessing he's a gamer.  I hope he at least dual-boots and has looked into Wine / Cedega, if only in passing.  :)

Yes i do dual boot but only when i am not in gameing mood
and YES it is 98, but its not the bullshity M$ def.
70% of it is changed the file browser is swiched with 2xExplorer
the iexplore.exe is brutally replaced with firefox mod ;]
on the other drive i've got Slack and my fingers are twiching to try out Haiku.

[offtopic]compiz was renamed to beryl, which I'm using only 'cause compiling metacity 2.16 with --enable-compositor (which has most of the actually useful effects, in particular real background transparency for gnome-terminal) I just can't be arsed to do in Ubuntu.

It looks like performance and stability in compiz has only gotten worse since I last tried it, humm..

btw, nvidia ppl, nvidia released a beta driver which supports all that's needed for compiz and aiglx.. check out http://www.sabayonlinux.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1410[/offtopic]

Humm, well things have fairly changed since I posted these pics.

You cna fix the sttings for that pretty easy...but yeah, I know, It's a hassle. I notice there you have a torrent of REEFER MADNESS!!! What a great movie that was, and an episode of Prison break...what is the facination with that?

I've done that for about the 10th time in a few months now.. I get a new profile for a new installation of a different version of Firefox, and just can't be arsed at times to put the 2mins into messing with the settings.

Reefer Madness... Heh, I picked that randomly up from a BitTorrent index when I was looking for sample (and legal) .torrent files :D I guess I should download and watch it now.. It looks interesting!
