Has anyone tried this before? It's an open source GPL Flight Simulator. There are binaries for Mandrake, Debian, and MacOS X, and yes even Windows.

Thought I would ask before trying to get it running on my box if it was worth it.

Master of Reality:
are you trying to teach yourself to fly a plane for some reason..... and flight schools wont show you just how to fly and not how to land/takeoff??
KernelPanic:
I have a copy void, that I got from a magazine. I will try it tomorrow and tell you how it is, if you can wait that long.
ps I am no flight simulator man so my review will probably based on what the graphics are like and how much it confused me

Actually I am already quite proficient at taking off, flying, and landing (well I land on the wheels most of the time) in both real airplanes, with R/C airplanes, and on dirt bikes (didn't land on my wheels the last time I flew my dirt bike). I just like flying.

Well it's a flight "simulator" and not a game so it would probably not be intuitive, especially if you don't know anything already about flying. I believe the manual is around 100 pages. I can surely wait.
