The only beer that was really good was James Squire's, they make a few, and they're all pish, except James Squire's Amber Ale. Fantastic. nearly a buck dearer per schooner than other beers though...
I quite liked Cascade Pale Ale as well actually.
On the other hand, i never tried redback, which i think would be great, since i love wheat beers...
I had a bottle of VB the other day, and i must say it was noticably better than our crappy Tennents and McEwans lager here. bleaurgh!
The thing about Scotland is that there are hundreds of speciality connosieueuieur beers to choose from. Mucho good whisky and rum too...

Crown Lager for mee... Yes better than American Pisswater , And my cousin has been to the USA so i know... Personally all you need for a taste of beer is some balls!

Anyway i will be getting a lipton tea maker and some more teabags. And try this grunge...
One other strong ass drink i made was ritalin (which is caffene and other shite) ground up and mixed into good ole Jim Beam whiskey. And other illegal grunge will doo fine for mee. Not too good for your sainity. And if you dont want alchohol try Red-Eye or Red Bull or V or one of those
