So, here's my counterproposal. You keep doing stupid things like writing old posts down. I'll keep up my campaign to get that thread unbinned.

We have a name for people like you around where I live. Bitches. That's it. Bitches. Specifically, whiny bitches. Whiny bitches are the people who open the word hole and let syllables fall out whenever something that they don't quite like or agree with shows up. They whine and bellyache until someone gets rid of the thing.

Problem is, getting rid of that thing typically hurts lots of other people.

I hate whiny bitches.

Authority should be questioned and kept in check.  A thread CAN be binned unfairly, Canadiar's thread is an example.  just because the OP wants the thread binned, does not mean it should be binned.
