KernelPanic:
What alternatives to x86 do we have? On the desktop very very few alternatives.

All I can think of is x86 and PPC really.

There aren't even many on the server side, we have Sun's Sparc range, HP has finally done what Compaq started and killed the Alpha, and we have various PPC's.

There isnt much choice I want an alternative to x86 that is good and not wildy expensive. With that and Linux I would be happy.
Wonder when this chinese thing is gonna get good?

ps. I know this post makes little sense.

TheQuirk:
Why not just get one of the cheaper x86?

Master of Reality:
i use to know the URL of a site that listed almost every architecture but i lost by bookmarks when i did something...

cloudstrife:

Linux has been ported to nearly every architecture already.
