well, i use phpBB for my board, incidentally it can be found at http://nelie.org/polytheism/forum if anybody wants to come and say some stuff, and so far i find it is really smooth, and i'd recommend switching to anybody who is having problems with their old board.

And might i say that my phpBB board and my http://polytheism.cjb.net site (which is the affiliated site) are all totally free services and software, which are mostly open source and are entirely microsoft free. I would recommend against anything that is "only in winders".
