But you could covertly connect your Linux box to the cable modem and plug his Win machine in behind your machine that would be acting as the router/dhcp server and he would never know the difference.  Then you could monitor his porn usage.

;)  excellent idea, then when he eventually finds out you can say he never noticed for ages, so how can it be harming the throughput.

Well I'm a dad too, however, I prefer to enlighten my kids by having them use Linux and give them the real truth about M$ and not allow them to be brain washed. I think it would be funny if young chaosforages were to drop the porn report on his dad's desk at the end of the month.

actaully, a 35 dollar fone bill showed up once, and they tried to blame me for it. and i found a porn dialer on his system, and i found on a few ancient floppys, (like from the 80's) some black and white pics, interesting huh?
