hey for those of you that have been working with windows like me. I am looking for a way to get and keep windows without registering it. does anyone have info or anything about this
thanks
Doctor V:
Don't use Windows, its that simple. You can do whetever you can with windows with linux. Or try a Mac. If you absolutely must use windows, then at least don't use XP, XP has that crap product activation, win2K and win98 don't. But you really should use an alternative OS, or your going to have to start getting used to shelling out loads of cash to M$.
Stryker:
If you have to have windows...
make a partition about 3-5gb big.
get everything installed the way you like it.
Use a redhat boot cd and use 'linux rescue'.
mount your drives.
use 'dd' in the shell to copy your image to the other drive.
when your computer fucks up 2 weeks later just copy it back over.
dawsonmd:
You still shouldn't be using Win XP
