Uninstalling Linux - i'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum

Hello!
First off i'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum, i wasn't quite sure where to put it!

OK then! My question. I have a dual boot system with Redhat ( running on a 20gb partition, Windows ME on a 15gig one and my bootloader is GRUB. So im wanting to remove linux and GRUB leaving windows on its own, but i have no idea how to go about doing this.

At a geuss would i need to do this - boot Windows up, open up dos and then run an fdisk /mbr command to remove GRUB. Then format my linux partition and resize the Windows partition to the full size of my drive?

Would be very grateful for any help!
Thankyou!

yes, you do need to do that 'fdisk /mbr' from a boot disk in windows ME, also while you are still using the boot disk, you will need to also type 'deltree /y c:\' to reinitialise your C: drive and get back the space that linux used to be on.

Ha ha ha ha

Try to find a windows forum next time though!

Calum:
that would be good advice to give to the guy who posted in a linux forum asking how to remove linux and go back to windows...

TheQuirk:
For the hell of it, I installed win2k and did the fdisk /mbr thing today (I have never done it, so I figured I should try it one day).

Wana know something funny?

It just delete my MBR. I had to use a boot-disk to get into windows or Linux. Teehee.

Pantso:
LOL   :D  . Nice one Calum. BTW, last time I checked your post was still there. Why would they delete it anyway?
