I have an optical mouse, looks like an IntelliMouse in every way, uses the Intellimouse drivers for Linux, but happens to ba made by "Maxtron" and was $25(AUD) which is about $16/$17 US.

Fucking Bargain!

I got a crap speed (57mph) because Optical Mice just fuck up at high speeds.
