Actually, I would take Microsoft's side on this one (even though it doesn't say "Microsoft" anywhere). I mean, he should have bought the software if he was going to use it. Trial versions are just for, well, trial.

unless its M$, which in that case the its always a 'trial' period.  paid for or not.
