Dumb Laws

Here in the UK It's still a legal requirement for males aged between 16 and 60 to practice Archery every Wednesday. No t so dumb actually, I'm going to be getting a proper english longbow when I have the money. English War bows had a pulling weight of 150 lb!
Also it's illegal to paint chairs on Blackheath Common (I think it blackheath), Blackheath is an old park in London.
It's also NOT (or last I heard anyway) illegal to urinate on the back wheel of a hackney carriage (Taxi).

On a more serious note, the laser law is a very good idea. Lasers are not weapons like star trek but they make very very effective blinding weapons.

where i went to university - TCD, Dublin - you were entitled to a glass of port if you presented your sword (with your family coat of arms) before an exam... also as a student your cattle, sheep and pigs were entitled to graze on college green (now a cricket pitch and football pitch)...!!! hilarious...
