My (joke) operating system
Kintaro:
I updated my site, and it has my new (joke) operting system. Its the most secure operating system on earth and has even crashed Windows on some of my Machines. Well its just a program.
I also put a lot more info about ME on my about page, and it has my REAL name. And i made a sound file with me saying "This is X11 and you say X11 as X11" so you can hear my sexy australian Voice (LOL)
Also that Johnson DeFay (by calum) is fucking BRILLIANT, honestly its one of the best songs i've ever heard.
Anyway my website is
http://x11.150m.com
Calum:
ha! i just read the source code for your operating system, X11, good work!
i will actually make a boot floppy of X11DOS, and perhaps fob it off onto people in the future!
Thanks for saying my song is good, as i say, better songs coming soon. I just wrote another last night.
Hey i had a problem getting the sound file, it came down as a 160k .wav file, but i couldn't play it as it was allegedly corrupt. Why not make it an mp3? or a .au?
Sadly, i had problems viewing your site, i just got the html source when i clicked the link in opera, and when viewed in mozilla 1.0, the inline frames go a bit wonky, the thin one is above the fat one, not side by side as i assume you wanted, and both frames have a lot of background canvas to scroll around in that isn't doing anything.
I couldn't even open it with Netscape 4.78, because it doesn't support inline frames. Didn't bother trying in IE or lynx, so i'm not sure what would have happened!
Lastly, you know i bought my laptop in Hurstville NSW, and they said on the leaflet that it came with a "Wondows Me Operting System" I kid you not! i was so sad to see that it was actually Microsoft windows, i was hoping to play with this new operting system from wondows! Oh yes, it came with its own "executove case" as well!!
Kintaro:
Hmmm, the sound worked fine for me, it works fine on my pc (Mozilla, lynx), i will test it in different resoultions.
Kintaro:
Nope 800x600 are not supported, but you can use lynx.
Im currently having trouble with XFree86 in cygwin (Unix layers for windows, slightly like WINE)
Anyway, try redownloading the song i've tryed it from 3 different computers and it works
