no, but you don't have to! bass players just need to have some small peircing, or funny coloured hair dye, or even just a trademark sneer. It's singers that need to look like Son Of Rollins!  :D

Indeed, but on the other hand, I kinda gave up the bass 6 months ago and started singing. I still love both, so how should I dress now ?  :D

Thanks for the compliment. I actually don't know what NU-METAL is, so after reading up on it, NU-METAL rocks.

One problem, I have no musical capability, so NU-metal would be out... oh wait, maybe that cynicism about not needing talent is true?  :D

whoa 6 guitars, i got a cool bass and a crappy ass guitar (and of course a mic and peddle. amps and shit). here is an Ogg of the first few seconds of the song "classical thump" by Victor Wooten (but me playing it on bass). Its not stuff that i usually play but i learnt it because if you've ever heard wooten play classical thump, he is one of the fastest bassists.

looking at those tables in that pic has me very sad now. my friends setup was ripped off right out of another freinds house on friday. (the tables are half mine right now too  :(  ). sucks. anyways, very off topic.

whomever did it knew everyone was out of town, the lights were on and there were a bunch of cars in the driveway. either he/she had huge balls or knew where everyone was. that had plenty of time to get in and unplug everything. sucks. two technics and a (i think) vestax mixer. both needles also. sucks. it was like $1800   :mad:
