Cult of Bob is the SHIT, not SHIT

Hey im a n00b who doesn't know anything, but I gots a beef with the Cult of Bob.

Check out:
http://gizzard.fortunecity.co.uk/cultof/bob.html

Ok so im using Opera. I have it set to high security mode. I realized that I had my Opera set to MSIE5.0 ID, ok that could explain why that site acted gay on me last time.

Ok so let's re-visit this site. I want to find out what the heck this Bob stuff is anyways.

So I open it up in my high security Opera(it asks me if want to accept a cookie and it reports illegal cookies). WTF?! Im spammed by an unlimited supply of "illegal cookie" messages in Opera. I either close opera with ALT-CTRL-DEL or have my comp crash from too many windows opening in a few minutes. Last time I went to BOB, my comp crashed because of this.

For something that seems connected to the MES, i'd expect more then this script kiddy bullshit. For a society that VALUES the real difference between "hacker" and "cracker", im appaled. Aren't you susposed to leave this gay shit behind when you become an intellectually advanced "hacker"?

Is this site trying to mock me because I have high security settings and it's trying to prove to me how vunerable I am at laugh at my suposed incompetence? If so, then I certainly would not want to join BOB. That is, if I could only figure out WTF they are because of their stupid site.

I can just imagine I'll get flamed for saying all this, but if you can't disarm my statements with logical arguments to send me to hell, your only fooling yourself.   :D

Your so called high security settings might have been the cause of this and not the site itself. Its odd because I have never ecieved any problems when visiting this site, and my thoughts are that you incorrectly setup Opera, or that since you are using Windows (ctrl-alt-del tipped me off) it might be your inferior OS causing trouble.

lazygamer:
Lol, well I haven't switched to Linux YET. I guess im an isolated incident...

Perhaps I should examine my settings, but it just seems so silly.

Master of Reality:
high security settings do virtually nothing on browsers. Blocking cookies and blocking activeX controls (in windoze) are teh only thing a browser really needs. What do the high security settings actually do other than ask if you want a cookie?

I have not had a problem in Linux with Opera, Mozilla 1.0, Mozilla 1.1B, Konqueror, Netscape, lynx. I have not had a problem in windows with Mozilla.

Master of Reality:
I cant log into the forums with Opera, but i dont see anywahere to set the security settings. THe only browser i have seen security settings is MSIE.
