Laukev7:
FUD.

Urban2010:
i'm kinda new wat is FUD?

Laukev7:
Fear, Uncertainity, Doubt. As the acronym implies, it means sowing doubt about the viability competitor or the worthiness of their products. It can be done either by spreading either directly or covertly unfounded rumours, myths, half truths or misleading statements about a competitor; or by more subtle actions like the vapourware technique.

Calum:
microsoft are correct about iTunes in some ways i think, but really this does not imply anything special or good about microsoft, two negative numbers simply cancel each other out.

and yes, it's largely FUD, or as the general populace calls it, promotion (or perhaps spin).

idlepython3:
WMA format is garbage. i wish i could uninstall that damn media player without everything going haywire.  the ipod is sheer genius if you ask me, and quicktime is the best that i know of.  i wish i could distance myself completey from microsofts crap but they keep pullin me in.  why should a simple browser or media player be so much a part of an operating system that it can't be uninstalled without screwin everything up?
