i thought amiga was pretty much dead. I guess i was wrong. amiga OS4 basically a port of linux PPC.

If so, I'm curious, what the hell can you do with the things? What software do they run etc.

I'm thinking I may get one as a sort of novelty/toy computer  :D  No offence, but what can you do with an AMIGA of all things???

about as much as you could do with a Quadra 840av. Many Amigas have some badass media abilities.

This is the only guy I know who still uses an Amiga.  Check out the part of his website where he rants about how he hates Microsoft so much and how great his amiga is.  He even has his own comic strip too... don't ask me how amigas can connect to the internet though..
