Uh, WXPUser, later models of Amigas came standard with ethernet (some had expansion slots, you could add on) and you can run a good chunk of GNU stuff on them, not to mention the "official" Amiga web browsers.

As for the Amiga's multimedia capabilities, their video cards were fantastic, especially the Video Toaster.

All the computer graphics for Seaquest DSV were done on an Amiga.  For a 1994 show they were pretty good.

Hmmmm i should try and get one. YOu can get Linux for amiga and then i can use PLIP networking.
