Actually thats bad code...

For a start you didnt tab out your loops, you used a generic term a which i hate, And the idea is for it not to look perfect like you think Windows does YOU FUCKING MICROSOFT JUNKIE

(Now doesnt this look like when i met Calum    :D   )

What are you talking about? I hate windows. Granted, i'm using it now. but i don't get much of a choice at the moment. when i get home i'll be in linux. And what makes you so confident that microsoft doesn't use simple variables like "a" and tabs all of their stuff? Or perhaps it's just you can't stand one person not liking a program you wrote. If that's the case then i'm sorry, you have some issues to deal with and i won't give you my opinion (which you asked for).

(edit)
But you're right. I did forget a period at the end of my sentence, and the "print" before my "starting..." part. but other than that, it looks like my vision of microsoft code.

who cares? i think we should be sending x11 lots of email telling him to rewrite it for linux, that's the only thing these windows-only developers understand!  :D

hey i just had a thought, is X11 now one of those developers, developers, developers, developers that ballmer loves so much?

I still don't understand what it all does. it might be trying to poke fun at Windows... but it's so frustratingly slow and plodding that I can't get any comedic value from it!
Go the fuck ~

Who thinks i should make a bootable floppy disk version???

I do. Then I could boot it in VMware. I downloaded your earlier version but couldn't run it because I don't use DOS/Windows and I don't want to install it just to run it.

How about IBM PC-DOS, will it run on PC-DOS?  How about OS/2, will it run under OS/2? How about MS-DOS 3.22? Will it run on a Commodore? How about a Trash 80?

I cant rewrite it for Linux because i dont know all the C++ Functions and things on how to do it. If any of you wanted to help email me on: [email protected]

If you just got me started with a small peice of code i could probably figure the Rest out... Or most of it!

Tell you what. If you make a FreeDOS bootable floppy disk, put a copy of your .NET OS and source on it, then "dd if=/dev/fd0 of=dotnet.img" in Linux and make it available on your web site, I might take a look at it and start a port. :)

P.S. Don't forget to put a copy of QBASIC.EXE and anything else necessary to make it run on the disk.

Uh, that should have been "stdio.h" not "stdio.o" and you should have at least "()" between "main" and "{". Revised:

Code: [Select]

I guess we would just use Curses, there is a port to dos. So it cant be to hard! If we port it to C then we can put it in the GekkOS Kernel, which is really easy to work with (have done so before). It provides everything we need (Keyb-Monitor) im sure sombody could write some graphics routines by Directly accsessing the Video Memory. (Somthing i know nothing about).
