Frightening p2p Searches
« on: 5 May 2005, 01:10 »
Search your p2p network of choice for "notepad.exe".  I got almost 1,200 results.  Also try "tax return", I got a few dozen for that.

Feel free to add your own discoveries.

some idiots with classified documents, which are being shared on the wrong internet.

There are multiple internets, in fact.  most people only know of one, or two.  However, there is an internet for every level of document classification by the US government.

Search for "DSC"... idiots share their documents folders and the folders their digital cameras download to. I've found all kinds of freaky shit in there. :) :( :o

I bet you this is how the Windows 2000 source code got leaked. Some retarded Microsoft employee desided to use a file sharing network to download some warz and porn at work, and they unwitingly shared all of the Windows source code on their hard disk. lol ;D
This is not a Windows help forum, however please do feel free to sign up and agree or disagree with our views on Microsoft.

Oh and FUCKMicrosoft! :fu:

It wasn't a microsoft employee who leaked it, however.

It was somebody who worked for a company with access to it, that, IIRC, specialised in Linux-Windows porting.

Many companies and universities do, if fact, have access to the Windows source code.

nope
The meaning of my username "BobTheHob":
It is well known that "Bob" is a nickname for robert in modern times, a lesser known nickname for robert is that of "Hob". Hob is a nickname for robert from the "Middle English" dialect. This is the version of english spoken and written around the late middle ages. Thus my username can be percieved like "RobertTheRobert" which is redundant. As I always like to say "Simplicity in redundancy, and elegance in simplicity".

Anyhow, according to the google definition button he isn't redefining 'internet' (good thing ya didn't capitalise it Bob!)

a poem by my computer, Macintosh Vigilante
Macintosh amends a damned around the requested typewriter. Macintosh urges a scarce design. Macintosh postulates an autobiography. Macintosh tolls the solo variant. Why does a winter audience delay macintosh? The maker tosses macintosh. Beneath female suffers a double scum. How will a rat cube the heavier cricket? Macintosh calls a method. Can macintosh nest opposite the headache? Macintosh ties the wrong fairy. When can macintosh stem the land gang? Female aborts underneath macintosh. Inside macintosh waffles female. Next to macintosh worries a well.

Yes I know that, I wasn't being serious!

We really need some [not_serious][/not_serious] tags.

You just created them. :)

Well that sucks.
GOOGLE BOMB THEM!!!!!!!!!
I'm often asked why I hate Microsoft - "What did they ever do to you?". Well, I'll tell you. They made dodgy programs and standards which have wasted hundreds of hours of my time involving lost work in crashes and stupidity.

True.... I thought I was quoting you when I did that. Guess I was a little drunker than I thought.
