Yet Another Ridiculous M$ Patent

"The present invention provides a method and system for maintaining emergency data in a manner that provides straightforward user access thereto via a displayed emergency page (or set of pages) or other suitable user interface,"

That has to be one of the vaguest invention descriptions I've ever heard. Seriously, who the hell works at the Patent Office these days??? They obviously don't rubber stamp these applications.....especially considering that this particular application was filed a month after 9/11. It doesn't take an Einstein to figure out that this patent is void on grounds of prior art. I guess Luddites still exist.

Aloone_Jonez:
I don't think we have to worry about software patents as half of them are so retarded they won't hold up in a court of lay anyway.

That's an insult to Luddites everywhere.

Calum:
I'm a luddite and i hate the concept of software patents!

TB:
I'm amazed nobody has picked up on my unintentional humour regarding Einstein and patents. I found myself giggling for a few minutes after typing that little gem.
