God knows I've read enough hype over the last year

Not to mention all the info Windows sends to MS, like the hardware info, and God knows what else.

Yes, but I don't understand this privacy thingie in MS's operating systems. They clearly state that they don't retrieve any personal info from your computer. But obviously several glitches in the EULA state that MS can install spyware plus all kinds of other crap on your computer.
