MSN Korea hacked
Aloone_Jonez:
--- Quote from: RaZoR1394 ---Viruses are a very big problem on the msn network. I keep hearing about them every time both from people and in the newspapers. I would also believe that they monitor the chatting at least with word detection or something similar. May sound paranoid but I don't It's impossible.
There are tons of alternatives to MSN, IRC being my favourite though. The big reason msn is so big is just because it was shipped with Windows. Pretty sad actually.

There's no point she's locked into using MSN as her friends use it and there's no way she'll be able to persuade them to change.

--- Quote from: piratePenguin ---If you used Jabber with an MSN gateway I wonder would it stop the viruses?
--- End quote ---
I'd guess a no. All file transfer is blocked. How do the viri get through MSN? The text???
RaZoR1394:
I think Exe or Scr (screensaver) files are very common. Then there are many **** who throw up links that lead to web sites with activeX viruses (explorer) or javascript viruses etc.
MrX:
does anyone have a screen shot they can post?
MrX
Jenda:
Javascript viri??? And as for the .scr and .exe, those can only be sent by file transfer, neh? And then Jabber is out of range for them.
