I have an ATI Video Wonder VE TV tuner card, and I just assumed it wouldn't work in BSD....but I just found out that there has been a BSD driver for it for a couple of years now!

Woohoo!

Does anyone here have a TV tuner and use it in linux? For anyone here that does, what program do you use to watch TV in linux? THe one for BSD is okay, but I was wondering if there are any alternatives that might be better.

MrX:
if anyone has a tv tuner that works on beos im willing to trade

Orethrius:
I've an AVerMedia on the shared box, but I'm afraid I can't find any Linux drivers for it.  :(

Yeah, and there are zero usable hits for non-Windows systems.
When I tell it to look for Linux drivers, I get a link to the vendor, and they only offer XP drivers.
Perhaps somebody here has a line on usable Linux drivers?
It's an AVerMedia UltraTV Media Center PCI 500 for future reference.
