I figured out why MS refuses to follow certian web standards...
Kintaro:
Yes Mr eXcrement.
Windows XP is the greatest operating system on the market since CP/M. It is versatile in three distinct stages: communication, chaos, and collosalisation. Communication: it is very capable of communication with others and provides a limitless possibility of differing interpretation. Chaos: it adds a new element to "user friendly" with adventure and fun to be had by all with its truly unique innovation of being the first Operating System to double as a computer game that takes you through a whole array of challanges and problems. Collosalisation: it is so mind bogglingly big that it allows another adventure like element, along with the element of impossibility and hopelessness to competition. Windows XP is a great product for your needs of interoperatability (allowing people to interoperate the function of emotions of frustration in a truely cool and relative basis) and production (allowing people to produce a whole range of emotions from dazzlement (being really impressed by those big blue rounded buttons) to being so angry that you manage to take your computer to new extremes (out the third floor of your house, following the laws of gravity straight down).
Windows XP is the future (of heart attack, stroke, and erectile difficulty).

With their forward thinking technology, Microsoft leads the way while it's pathetic fragile competition is left eating their dust.
Linux and Mac OS X need the technology of Microsoft Windows XP, and they needed it yesterday.
The synergy you can perform with Windows XP Pro totally redefines the meaning of the word "professional".
If it wasn't for Microsoft's cutting-edge operatings systems and software, we would all be stuck using the MACS from 1984 and green console screens. That's right, UNIX and MAC haven't come anywhere since the 80s, but Windows continues to lead the way with their best-of-breed code.
Take that LINUX/MACOSX FanGIRLZ! Read it and Weep! WINDOWS MARKETSHARE = 90% AND GROWING.

P.S.: This isn't intended to be accurate or truthful. Perhaps i'm spending too much time on the internet.

you know what?
you're right. The reason I don't want to run linux is becuase of all the console shit, I just want to move my mouse and click shit.
MrX:
maybe that's why it is so popular?

There are plenty of user friendly GNU/Linux distros out there (e.g. Ubuntu, Mandriva). Whenever I started off on Mandriva I stayed well away from the console for a long long time. You rarely ever _need_ to use it, with all the graphical frontends, wizards etc.
