It would be remotely funny if it was actually acurate and didn't have a Windows 9x BSOD, let alone a fucking blue one (they are red in Vista).

Lame photoshop attempt, try again.

Anyway, I logged into my brothers computer and loaded the rudefinger cursor prank. I did it via RDP at 800x600, so I also completely fucked his desktop. Two pranks trying to do one! What a bargain!

A cute trick I pulled once:

Edit the main arrow cursor (Microangelo is good for this), and make it about 300x300 pixels.  Don't change the size of the arrow itself, just extend the borders - the new area should be filled with transparency.  Now, change the hotpoint of the cursor from upper-left to lower-right.  Hide close by and watch your victim be unable to accomplish anything with the mouse.

Why monkey around with pranks when it is so easy to get the real thing?

Refalm, surprise your parents by deleting a bunch of important dll files, that will get them!

Funnier would be to get an XP machine and install all the DLL files from Windows NT 4.0. That would make the ultimate BSOD bitch!

So why not transforming the BSOD in a more user friendly dialog box?

Maybe with some less geek code.

Because most people would just figure it is advertising that Internet Explorer sent in.
