Odds are, you have probably heard about NetBSD being ported to practically every architecture out there, including (jokingly) toasters. Well, that dream has become a reality.

I want one.

And yet, the most often used appliance, the television, is still as dumb as a box of rocks.  I don't know if BSD is the solution, but somebody has got to do something about the awful television paradigm we seem to be stuck with.
