well in my opinion it is poor form to charge nonprofit organisations money for using the word linux.

why not subsidise them by charging organisations more that make money from linux? they can afford it after all.

also, it's funny that linus torvalds owns the trademark for the word linux since it wasn't even him that came up with the word in the first place! (it was Ari Lemmke, wasn't it?)

They should really let NPOs get away without the fee. $200 buck is a LOT of money for many people.
