And besides, Windows users choose a crappy operating system, they should get what they bought.

LOL at that.

I remember a lot of fatal errors in Win98 were based on the messenger service, and it always seemed like the messenger service was used to deliver system interrupt messages.  When an interrupt message got delayed or lost, the computer would crash.  Not sure what goes on inside XP (and don't want to know), but if the messaging service is used to queue system warnings and critical stops, disabling it could be very bad indeed.

I don't recall anything like that, ever, in Windows 98. I might be wrong.

From what I can recall, there was no messaging service in Windows 98 at all. I could be wrong though.

Hilarious. I've never seen this this before.

According to Mr. BV, "copyleft is the opposite of copywrite", and the Apache webserver is licensed under the GPL.

I wonder how we would respond if I emailed him and poitned out his complete misunderstanding of open source?
:)

What is a small time web geek to do?

My solution would be to either pay the money, or shut the fuck up.  Case closed.  No need to be a whiny pussy about mirrored Apache documentation in the process.

I agree, I said Gentoo users.

Even worse are people who buy Red Hat Enterprise for desktop use. Why the fuck bother with something that is comparable with Fedora Core 3 in desktop use?

Does Fedora Core 3, a non profit community project offer professional technical support? The answer: NO. It doesn't. Some people want the support. That is why the fuck you would buy something that is otherwise comparable to Fedora Core 3.

But this guy didn't need support. He was almost a Linux guru if he wasn't such a fucktard.
He did it to support Red Hat or something. Plus, he actually called Slackware "slow".
