Actually, baseball is the pussy version of cricket, like American football is the pussy version of football.

i had a few friends that followed cricket.. i used to follow it too. and to show you how recently, i watched about 70% of the games in the natwest seris a couple of months ago.

edit: damnit! clicked post before i ment to.

as for my personal opinion (if anyone gives a damn) i would watch cricket over baseball (because it's the most boring game to watch). but play baseball over cricket. (because you dont have to wait an hour before you bat, and you get to bat more than once)
