Does anyone know what OS microsoft uses for their web site?  I noticed that apple.com on the bottom of the homepage, it says "powered by OSX server".  What does MS use for their site?  I doubt it is a microsoft os.

I think they shut off the cacheing, since Netcraft was providing hilarious "Microsoft.com is running on Linux" pages.  :D

No, Akamai still hosts the site...

> ping www.microsoft.com

I just tried that, indeed, you're right.

And all 4 packets timed out.  :D

I guess Netcraft just manually changes it.
