I think it can now be safely said, in hindsight, that Microsoft's entry into the browser business and its subsequent linking of the browser into the Windows operating system looks to be the worst decision

IE is NOT "the Great Microsoft Blunder" ... Microsoft is "the Great Microsoft Blunder" ... and that includes everything, not just IE. Maybe one day they'll write an article called "Microsoft the Great Blunder" :D

MS do get loads of money from MSN.com, which is only so big because it's the default search engine in IE which most computer users use (but then lots of the IE users also go to the wonderful Google). So I wouldn't say IE's profits would be $0.
Last I checked, they were losing money on MSN.

i mean like i have heard of people saying MSN this and MSN that
and on a few occasions ive seen emails ending on msn
but ... Ie search engine ? do not think so
+ what is so great about that site any way just as crapy as
a harvested domain !:p
