gtk-gnutella, it kicks ass, and they recently added alot of sweet features like swarm downloads and such.

http://gtk-gnutella.sourceforge.net/ (http://gtk-gnutella.sourceforge.net/)

www.limewire.com (http://www.limewire.com)

Or you can get KaZaA Lite, which runs in WineX

Limewire has spyware last time I checked. Isn't that what we wanted to get away from?

the linux version doesnt have spyware.... and you can download teh source code and take it out for the linux version.
But gtk-gnutella is much better anyway.

KaZaA sucks, KaZaA Lite in Dutch is 0wnage  :D

KaZaA didn't bother to make a Dutch version of KaZaA, so we made KaZaA Lite in Dutch (http://www.kazaalite.nl/).

The Kazaa client for Linux has been discontinued.

Kazaa sucks, it's windows only now, it is the primary target of the RIAA, the network is poisoned with bogus files, the quality of the files you download is shite, and I could go on like this for a while ....

Besides, I don't like the idea of downloading and sharing hundreds of files, promoting piracy and stuff like that.
Use it to see if you like songs you don't know yet and if you like them buy the cd

I booted to IceWM and it had a launcher for it right in the start menu, seemed like it was working but I couldn't find anything when I searched.

Another problem with P2P's is the people who describe their mp3's wrong. Just look at the Weird Al Yankovic mp3's you find on P2P's... only about 35% is actually make by Weird Al (http://b3ware.net.orion.wsgate.net/Forum/images/Smile/nooo.gif)
