Title: damn colour things
Post by: Master of Reality on 12 September 2002, 03:45
OK... a long time ago (when i installed redhat) I set gnome to have a metalic sort of grey on the panels and menus, and stuff but it had white on white for text. After i did that i noticed that KDE for some reason took the same settings, but nothing had changed in the control panel. I have searched through the control panel look and feel settings but see no way to change this. It only does this under user 'mor' and not under root. Is there anywhere else i should look to see any colour schemes or gradients??

here is a screenshot of gtk-gnutella with this damn gradient: click here (http://chatroom.fuckmicrosoft.com:8000/images/gradient.png)
you would be able to see the text in the search field, but as i said, its white on white and can only be seen when highlighted.
